Unauthorized individuals may misuse the name of courier service providers to mislead customers. Such fraudulent activities may include:

  • Emails or messages claiming a shipment is on hold due to unpaid charges

  • Requests for customs clearance fees through unofficial payment links

  • Distribution of fake tracking numbers

  • Impersonation of courier representatives via phone calls or messaging platforms

  • Requests for confidential financial or verification details

Customers are advised to independently verify any suspicious communication before responding or making payments.


2. Identifying Suspicious Communication

You should exercise caution if you notice any of the following:

  • Sender email addresses or contact details that do not match official AICS communication

  • Urgent payment demands without proper shipment booking confirmation

  • Links redirecting to unfamiliar or unsecured websites

  • Requests for OTP, UPI PIN, passwords, or banking credentials

  • Threatening language regarding shipment cancellation, seizure, or penalties

If any of these indicators are present, the communication should not be trusted without verification.


3. Official Communication Policy of AICS

For customer assurance, AICS confirms the following:

  • AICS does not request OTP, UPI PIN, passwords, or confidential banking information.

  • All legitimate payment requests are issued only through verified and documented channels.

  • AICS does not send unauthorized payment links.

  • AICS does not threaten customers with legal action or shipment seizure through informal communication methods.

All official communication is conducted through verified contact details published on the AICS website.


4. Customer Safety Guidelines

To reduce the risk of fraud:

  • Track shipments exclusively through the official AICS website.

  • Verify any payment-related request using official contact numbers or email addresses.

  • Avoid clicking on unknown or shortened links received via email or messaging platforms.

  • Do not share confidential information unless the identity of the representative has been properly verified.

Maintaining vigilance is essential in protecting yourself against fraudulent activity.


5. Limitation of Responsibility

AICS shall not be held responsible for:

  • Payments made to unauthorized individuals or third-party platforms

  • Confidential information voluntarily shared with fraudulent parties

  • Financial losses resulting from failure to verify suspicious communication
